Sweet Evie

Evie is almost 4 months old in these pictures. I was able to get few pictures of her. I wanted to get more but it was so busy all week. When I held her all I could do was cuddle her and kiss her sweet head. I had forgotten how small and still they are at that age. Oh how sweet they are and oh how little sleep you get when they are so little. But as much as you cherish all those little stages and moments, it never seems to be enough becasue they grow so fast!

ER looks especially yellowish-orange. Maybe it's all the carrots and yams I am feeding her?They say those food can make a baby's skin turn orange.

Visit from Mom and Dad

Mom and Dad had such a wonderful long stay with us. We were all so sad to see them leave, especially Ella Reese. They were able to stay with us for a whole week. In the mornings the four of us would get up early, have breakfast together then go for a walk outside. Here are some pictures of us after our morning walk. It was so sweet to see ER play with mom and dad. Isn't my mother so beautiful?

Doris and Tim and baby Evie came in later that week. Here is Evie and Ella Reese's first meeting. Evie smiled at ER and ER stroked her head. It was so cute!

We couldn't resist and see a comparison of feet. Big feet run in the Kung family. Of course ER's is on the right. Doris said that Evie always sticks her pinky toe out like that..so cute!

Still alive

Yes, we are still alive here in the Prince household. My parents came all the way from Hong Kong to stay with us two weeks ago. My older sister and her husband and baby Evie also came from Philly as well. It was a blast! I have just now gotten back into the pace of things at home. It was such an awesome time and I have plenty of pictures to post...too many probably. I will post them very soon.

So I wanted to quickly write and let everyone know what has happened to me in my absence. But in the meanwhile enjoy these pictures of flowers I got for mothers day. I felt like a florist shop for a few days. My dad got flowers for mom, doris and I for mother's day. Then Doris brought me flowers as well, and Ryan's mom got me some roses....so you can imagine the sweet fragrance in my house. You really can't take a bad picture of flowers. They are so beautiful! The trick to these pictures I took below is that I put the flower directly under a lamp and placed the flower right up to the light bulb. So try it at home and see what beautiful pics you get.

And here is out little flower. We went to Mr. Gahtti's Saturday night for dinner. A favorite childhood pastime for both Ryan and I. She was so tiny in that chair. Everytime I went to the buffet to get food, I;d turn around to see her sitting in the chair and laughed becasue she looked so little sitting there with barefeet dangling and chin up to the table.

9 Month Old Pumpkin

Ella Reese turns 9 months old tommorrow...Can you believe it!!? I took her for her 9 month appointment this morning and I told the nurse as we were weighing her that I didn't think she put on much weight at all. She still fits in some of her 6 month clothes. Well I was right. She only gained a little over a pound and weighs 15pds 13 ounces. And she is 261/2 inces tall. She falls in the 5-10th percentile in weight, 10th in height and 20th in head measurement. She is a petite litte one. But Dr. Perry took one look at her long monkey feet and said she will grow much more. I asked him also about her eye color, to get his opinion on what he thought they would turn. Right now they are a dark hazel greenish...He said his guess is that they will turn brown like mine. But assured me that they could really go either way right now. Only God knows!

Pics of being Sat On...

I never understood why they call it "baby sitting"... But last Friday Ryan took me on a date and Lon and Sharon baby sat Ella Reese. Ryan and I had a fun evening. He took me to TCBY, looked at minivans and then we went putt-putting. Haven't putt- puttted in so long! It was a lot of fun, thanks baby.

I left my camera with Sharon and it looks like ER had a ton of fun! I think she liked being in the trashcan the best. He he...
