Red Portraits

In this one she is mimicing me when I tell her "No No " and shake my finger. She was playing at the fireplace and you can see her blurry finger cause she is shaking it and saying no no. Usually if it is something she knows she is not to play with, she will shake her finger and say no no without my saying anything.
This is rare on camera. I was so glad to get these!
She is not much of a smiler when I take her pictures. She will hardly look into the camera and if she does she is trying to grab it. So most of my pictures of her are a blur casue she is moving at me, or she looks pensive and serious because I so happened to get her still while she is distacted.
I had her pink stool out and I put her on it and she was thought it was so funny that she was sitting on it and her feet couldn't touch the ground.

She is much more animated these days. Ryan would make crazy faces at her when she was smaller and she would just stare at him. And he makes some crazy silly faces. But a few months ago she finally decided that he is hilarious constantly laughs at him. And if she isn't laughing at him, she is walking around laughing at herself. So these portraits are such a treasure to me so I can always remember how silly she was at the age...

Baby London

Yes I am addicted to taking pictures..as you can tell.
I love it so much and I very much recognize it as a gift from God. I am so thankful for this gift and and that I enjoy it so much!
For a long time Sharon and some others have encouraged me to look into doing this on the side as I stay home with the babies. I never really gave much thought. But recently I have been praying about it more and seeing when and if this is what the Lord would have for our family. We'll see.
In the meantime I take pictures randomly on the side.

Kaleb and Sophie

I went this morning to take some pics of Kaleb and Sophie. I was not sure how these were going to turn out. When I got there Kaleb had just bumped his head and it was still bleeding a bit and Sophie was cutting a tooth and snotty from allergies. Plus, Ella Reese was with me and she was cutting tooth as well. So this first thirty mintues was filled with two 1 year olds crying and wanting their mommies. When I got home and went through them I was so suprised at how they turned out!
I think I took like about 100 pics and deleted more than half of them. I just kept snappin away one after the other. At that age they move so much!
It was pretty chaotic at times. In the pictures they look so cooperative and happy, but in fact it was work to get them to smile at first or sit still. I am amazed at the ones I did capture! I don't know how I did!
But it was most certainly worth it...













I was telling her to find her belly button and she was lifting her skirt only to see the underwear part of her skirt. Steph and I were cracking up. She was a bit confused.











Here are some behind the scenes pictures. This was what was really going on as I was snappin away. Ella Reese was a crying mess the entire time and wanted me to hold her. And poor Sophie was teething too and was equally distraught. After a while they all loosened up and started having fun and playing. But it was interesting trying to shoot pictures and holding ER.

This is what Kaleb did when I asked him to kiss his sister. He kept holding onto her face and trying to turn her head...it was so funny.

Tickle fest!

This morning...

This morning I decided to take some of her. One because she will be 14 months in a few days, and two she was clutching her Get Better Bear and walking around with her feet out of her sleeper. I call if her Get Better Bear because when she had croup and a respitory infection at the same time she started cuddling with it and I am conviced that it healed her- cause all the medicine I was giving her seemed to not do a thing.
But she ocasionally will take a fondness to the bear again, puttin it under her head and chin and squeezing it. And this morning was one of those times. It was so sweet.




On the move..too fast for me and my camera. But I love this one cause you can see the ends of the feet of her PJ's.



I can't decide if I like this better in color...see below a few down...


Now that she is walking I can't get her to be still for me...I get just a blur.


Snugglin with her Bear..Actually she is trying to grab my camera as I am holding her in one arm and taking pictures with the other. But in the last one she was sincerely clutching the bear.
