I just made the bomb pasta dish tonight. It was delish. I should post it in my FOOD section.
Garlic, parmesan, spinach, chicken and Rotini pasta. And sprinkled little bits of bacon heaven on top. Can we say Yum-o!!?

Why does the red wool area rug (or I think that is what is made of) in our living room continue to shed after the 4 years we have owned it?! Tonight is care group and we host ours at our home. I had to kids help me pick up the red balls that shed everywhere. That thing drives me crazy.
Gross,..I know. It grosses me out too.

Do not have your planning time in front of the TV when the Amazing race is on. Or anything else at that matter. I sat for an hour with my normal "planning stuff" scattered all over the couch ( coupons needing to be sorted, bills to be paid, my last week's schedules to see what I needed to move to this week, grocery ads) and I sat there with only my schedule for the week planned up to Tuesday at lunch.
Arghh. I was mad at myself for allowing myself to succumb to the vortex of a trap the TV is for me. I am rendered useless when I watch TV. All multi tasking skills are out the window.
So I will be sitting tonight at the kitchen table to have a re-do.
TV is really over rated. The less time I have, the less TV I watch. And the less TV I watch the more I see how much my soul benefits from it's absence!

I was driving today and heard the very familiar sound of flow masters flood my ears. It is a deep roar that permeates the road it is passing through. My heart fluttered.
WHY may you ask. And WHAT is a flow master.
Why? Because ever since I have been married to Ryan that is the sound I hear when his truck pulls up to the house.
And you once again ask, WHY does it make my heart flutter?
That very reason. It reminds me of my man. Of him driving his truck doing his manly stuff.
Is that what Knoxville, TN has done to me?!
WHAT is a flow master? In woman terms: it is an extra metal piece attached onto somewhere onto the back end of a vehichle and creates a deafening roar that makes you remember that you are in fact in Knoxville, TN.
